SCP-914-EX-ELEVATOR-EYE
OBJECT CLASS: DECOMMISSIONED
CONTAINMENT PROTOCOLS
The elevator containing SCP-914-EX-ELEVATOR-EYE must remain decommissioned and isolated within a secure, light-sealed chamber. The elevator shaft is to be monitored continuously via remote surveillance.
Entry into the containment chamber is strictly prohibited without Level 4 authorization and mandatory psychological evaluation.
Regular cleaning of the ocular components with sterile saline solution is required to maintain functionality and prevent infection spread.
DESCRIPTION
SCP-914-EX-ELEVATOR-EYE is a set of elevator buttons that has undergone anomalous transformation following experimental recombination with Homo sapiens ocular cells.
Each button features a fully formed human eye embedded directly into its surface. The eyes exhibit:
- Full pupillary response to light stimuli
- Saccadic eye movements
- Ability to track movement within the elevator cab
- Direct integration with elevator electrical systems via optic nerve fusion
The stainless steel and plastic surrounding each eye has been partially absorbed or replaced by organic tissue, creating a seamless biological-mechanical interface.
ADDENDUM: RESEARCHER NOTES
Dr. ████████ - Day 47: "The eyes follow you. Not in the way a portrait seems to follow you around a room - they actually track. Measured saccadic velocity suggests full neurological functionality despite lack of brain connection."
Dr. ████████ - Day 89: "Found cerebrospinal fluid within button housings during routine maintenance. This shouldn't be possible. Where is it coming from?"
Dr. ████████ - Day 134: "After 3 hours of observation, I started seeing the eyes blink in synchronization. Psychological evaluation required. Requesting reassignment."
WARNING
Prolonged exposure to SCP-914-EX-ELEVATOR-EYE has demonstrated measurable psychological effects on researchers. Maximum observation time is limited to 4 minutes before mandatory evacuation and evaluation.
